Mais uma pérola musical, com performances soberbas sobre temas bem conhecidos da cena pop, rock e jazz, e um tesouro audiófilo pela qualidade da gravação e masterização que  continua a impressionar pela resolução, dinâmica e pura energia musical.

On their new album “Discovered” they go back to the roots and know to surprise us with unbelieveable interpretations of famous songs. In their music there comes across the intenseness of the blues with the latitude of the jazz and the sound of soul music. Audience and musicians brim over with enthusiasm for their virtuosic sound pictures.

If Friend’n Fellow want to play a real classic, they don’t only cover the song. They reinterpret the song in their own individual style, intensely, closed and distinctively. With their new album, they start from a new point. They picked 9 songs out of a pool of over 400 songs which were suggested by their fans and complete this repertory with two other songs.

One of these two, “Me and Mrs. Jones” was added by the private request of Thoams Fellow. Because they have played this song on their first public show 20 years ago. The second choice is the wondeful ballad “Throw It Away” of Abby Lincoln. One of their favourite singers! After a show years ago, they have had a short but very intense meeting with her. And in the first days of recording this new album, they received the news that Abbey has passed away... So Constanze and Thomas know they had to record this song for her.
